Our Story
Pets & Plus was founded in 2020 in Miami, Florida by a group of lifelong pet lovers who saw a problem worth solving. Too many families were struggling to find trustworthy breeders, and too many responsible breeders had no reliable way to reach the right buyers. Puppy scams were on the rise, transparency was scarce, and the process of finding a new pet felt unnecessarily stressful.
We set out to change that. What started as a simple directory of verified breeders has grown into a full marketplace platform that helps thousands of families across the United States connect with screened, responsible breeders they can trust.
Our Mission
Our mission is straightforward: make it easy for families to find healthy pets from breeders who genuinely care about animal welfare. We do this by vetting every breeder on our platform, requiring health documentation, and giving buyers the information they need to make confident decisions.
We are not a pet store and we are not a broker. We are a marketplace that connects buyers directly with breeders — and we hold both sides to a high standard.

Our Team
Behind Pets & Plus is a small, passionate team of engineers, designers, animal welfare advocates, and customer support specialists — most of whom are pet parents themselves. We work remotely from across the country, but our headquarters remain in Miami, where it all started.
